DEATH: Elizabeth Ann FORBES died suddenly sitting by the fire at "Hamewith", after checking the
Ship Movement section in the daily paper and reading that Mary and Ned's ship from INDIA was in
the Bay of Biscay and would be in Tilbury (London) the next day, and would probably arrive up in
Kincardinr O'Neil the day after. So she never saw her daughter again(nor of course, the four year -
old twins who were coming over on their first visit...)

Elizabeth married James Coutts, son of Charles Coutts and Jane Farquharson, in 1884 in St Nicholas, Aberdeen, Scotland. (James Coutts was born on 8 Aug 1854 in Crathie, Aberdeenshire, christened on 1 Sep 1854 in Crathie, Aberdeenshire and died on 30 Sep 1919 in Pannanich Wells Hotel, Ballater, Aberdeenshire ¹.) The cause of his death was Vascular Disease.
